We use our powers for good.
Our design team has been recognized on local, national, and international levels. With awards and nominations from Adobe, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, AIGA, Design Ignites Change, and more, we’re pretty darn proud of what we do. We’re happy to share our talent and pride with you on your web or branding project.
Maxed-out experience in web technologies
Remember that modem sound? Music to our ears. Those days are all but over, but we like to reminisce. We’ve been making websites since the web was new, and we’re not stopping anytime soon. It’s just getting good.
Passionate people with a love for what we do
We’re tinkerers and makers and geeks and enthusiasts. When we’re not working we’re absorbing information on the latest technologies and design trends to stay ahead of the game. We take immense pride in working on projects from start to finish, from design to implementation. We work all the way through concept to production and beyond.
We take pride in our craft
We wouldn’t be as awesome as we are if we didn’t pay special attention to the quality of our work. We take great care to develop a rich palette for your project’s look and feel, and we bring it all to life in a carefully strategized system of unique graphic elements and a strong visual language.
Adj, adv. Known, unhidden, honest, truthful, sincere.
Okay, okay. So it’s not a real word. Technically, incognito is an unpaired word, which has no root that stands on its own. So we made one. It defines who we are and what we do.
Being a cog in a machine may carry negative connotations, but it’s those moving parts that make things work. We’re taking cog back by owning our technical prowess and our love for crafting innovation.
We are unashamedly geeky and proud of our passion.
While it may seem obvious, too many firms forget the reason why they’re in business. We make what the client needs. We make what people need. And we never overlook the fact that design is meant to solve problems and make life easier for the people who use it.
People ignore design that ignores people.
We wouldn’t be much use if we only made pretty designs without a purpose. We’re a full-stack design shop: Research, concept, design, and execution. That being said, we’re also a bit old-fashioned. We rely on paper sketches and coding by hand because we love our craft and we know the importance of having total control of our tools.
Started from the bottom; now we’re here.
Cogneedo has only existed in its current form since 2013. Since then, we have worked with many small businesses around the country, spreading our love of multimedia to the masses.
We adhere to HTML5 standards and take a modular approach to our designs and code. Our projects are constructed from a kit of parts based on our clients’ brands and objectives.
We design and curate a comprehensive and cohesive website experience, from admin backend to public-facing frontend, from social media outreach to converting visitors to customers. We don’t overlook the important stuff.
I know the price of success: dedication, hard work, and an unremitting devotion to the things you want to see happen.

We do work that we’re proud of, plain and simple. Our design and development team will work closely with your business to achieve something you can be proud of too.
We are inherently geeky.
We’ve been tinkerers since birth. We tear things apart and rebuild them from the ground up. We love to learn and solve problems and develop an intimate understanding of the inner workings of what we do. We’ve always loved making things, and our medium of choice is pixels and code.
When the Web was new, we learned how to add our voices to this new communication platform with wonder and amazement. Hypertext was magic. Learning to code was incredibly empowering.
When the Internet first came, I thought it was just the beacon of freedom. People could communicate with anyone, anywhere, and nobody could stop it.
From the early days of the Web, to the birth of CSS, to the glory days of Web 2.0, we’ve been there. And we’ve built it. Our tools have changed over the years, but we’ve always held onto our love of learning and creating something new.
Good things come from small businesses.
The great thing about being a two-person team is that it allows us to do things on our own terms and be passionate in our own way.
Those who say ‘it’s not personal, it’s just business’ are lying. All business is personal, and the best business is very personal.
